Instructions for Brother John Luggage Service

For questions about bag transportation, contact Larry Black at: BroJohnSAG@comcast.net or 770-314-2400. Please read all of this and click on the link for the reservation form at the bottom of this page. Detailed instructions will be emailed to you later, so be sure to include an email address.

COST is $68.00 per bag for the week, or $38.00 for up to three days of one pickup and one delivery each day.
MAXIMUM WEIGHT is 40 lbs per bag. NO EXCEPTIONS!
BAG TAGS: All bags must have a new destination tag each day with that day's motel listed.
DELIVERY TIMES: Bags will be delivered between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm as long as riders cooperate by tagging their bags each day and letting us know in advance of any changes, especially if they drop from the ride.
COMMUNICATION: Please call us or leave a large note on your bag to explain ANY changes from your reservation form.

Reservations will be accepted until one week before BRAG begins. PLEASE MAIL YOUR RESERVATION AND PAYMENT BY MAY 25TH or register online with a credit card.


Here is a copy of the release form you must sign before we will agree to transport your luggage. It is located at the bottom of the motel form.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: I understand that Brother John's Luggage SAG and Larry Black only transport luggage and do not under any circumstances transport people or bicycles. I also understand that my personal property will be left with hotel personnel each day of the Bicycle Ride Across Georgia, and I agree to release BRAG and all of its representatives from any and all responsibility for the security of my property. I also agree to release luggage handlers from any liability for loss or damage to my property when it is out of their care. I understand that handlers are not directly associated with BRAG.

For a list of BRAG Motels in each stop go to the Official Motel List on the BRAG website. There is a $10 surcharge for any day that you stay in lodgings that do not appear on the official list.
